An incinerator is an equipment for burning waste. It is designed to burn all types of waste which includes biological/pathological waste, paper, polythene bags, kitchen waste as well as destroying pathogens in needles and bottles. It is diesel fired.
The design involves fabrication of outer steel casing, an inner refractory cast of high temperature (1700c) alumina refractory cast of high temperature air setting cement.
The design also incorporates an ash door, loading door, blower fan and a wet scrubber.
